hey,i got a 2000 sunfire w/ a 2.2L engine.i need to replace my engine and the machanic told me i should get a ecotech engine since i am into racing.is there a 2.2L ecotech or a 2.4L ecotech.i want a twin cam Ecotech engine and i was wondering if you guys would know where i could find one and how much would an ecotech engine cost me becuase when i buy the engine i also wanna turbocharge it the same time i install the engine in my car.please if you guys have any info plz let me know thank you very much!

first things first. spell it right. its ecotec not ecotech.

the 2.2 L61 is a direct fit into your 2000 sunfire. no custom work needed (I had to make my own rad hoses because I chose to use my 2200 rad). you can find them from 03-05 cavaliers or sunfires. I found mine from a 2004 sunfire, with 10,000kms on it for $500CAD.
