Since you have to remove the stock air filter, the new one should fit where the old black box was at least in the Z-24.
Is it just me or do they have the filter on the wrong end...lol

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.
as for your rain concern.. the filter would have to be fully submerged in water for several seconds before it would inhale any water... but if your still concerned about it then i would suggest an AEM bypass valve.
Thats just a wai. The filter is on the wrong side lol; thats ebay companies for ya.
your right i finally late last night started looking thru the engine bay and removing things though it started to rain and didnt get a chance to figure it out more.
but does it need the air intake temp sensor?
also yeah the filter is on the wrong side it should be closer to the temp sensor location.
anyways this intake doesnt go to the ground its still a short ram intake not a complete CAI
anyways i think im going to just replace the rubber hose with a hard alumin intake and run it to the stock air box and slap on a K&N filter and use the stock air box as it has a tibe that goes to the fender and acts as a factory cold air grabber.
