Pulleys...Thank you for helping me.

Well I have my first Prototype alternator pulley, Wohoo "Thanks Karo"
I still need to go over the dimensions in greater detail, and test fit it on the Z24 & HHR, but everything so far looks TITS. I hope to give the machine shop the go ahead no later than this Sunday to make some alternator pulleys. I hope at that time "Sunday" to start a GP for the Alternator pulleys. Tentative lead time would be about 3 weeks, but you & I know it will probably be longer. The machine shop wants to start with the alternator pulleys then move onto the crank pulleys after I place the order for the alternator pulleys. Cover their butts, understandable.

This alternator pulley weighs less than the old design 2.96 oz. instead of 3.00 oz.
I hope to sell them for either $60 shipped or $50 plus shipping. Either would be about the same final cost. I will give a discount if you have purchased a pulley from me in the past. Also, if you plan on getting a crank pulley later on, after you have purchased an alternator pulley, I will give you a discount later on. $10-25 off the set depending on how many are sold. Prices are almost exactly the same as last time. I am about 90% sure..... I will only be offering raw pulleys & A4-clear coated pulleys, your choice. Sorry no red or blue this time around. In some cases the color faded, and I will not sell a product if I do not stand behind it 110%.

On with the pictures. Just machined, no coating.

Old design with A4 clear finish.

I think the new design looks A LOT better with the crank pulley.

Any questions feel free to ask.

David, not really. Just changed the bore to ENSURE it will fit all alternator bands, and changed the 8 lighting holes to three slots.

So is this the same size as stock but just lighter? Also how hard is it to swap alternator pulleys?

Same diameter, just half the weight. Stock is 6oz or more mine run right around 3oz.
Need a T-55 Torx bit and a open ended wrench. Mine was a bitch to get off the first time. It is on their tight, but it is easy besides that.

34 LD9 sets worth + some alternator pulleys for the L61 and LN2 boys. A mere couple more than a few people.
Eric I didn't forget about you. I'll have a nice gift for you soon or later.

David you have the first production set, and one of the first if not the first to install them.
