I know in the past there has been talk of a lack of performance radiators for our cars. And cooling is a very important part of any modified vehicle. So what would you guys say if I could offer you a High Flow Performance Radiator from a name that you can trust? GRIFFIN. This would be a direct bolt in for any 3rd gen J-body and could be offered in auto as well as manual applications. It could also come with the option of a 14" electric fan(including wiring harness). But being able to offer this to you, all depends on demand, as well as price. So everyone let me know. I would love to be able to offer this to you, so please let me know your interest. Thanks guys!!!!
hmmmm, if i could get one with smaller dimensions than stock id be in!
I'm interested...

Im in.....a little smaller than stock in width would be nice aswell with fitting charge pipes also.
search , there have been a few people that have custom built radiators , i forget who made them
but i remember prices like 400-500
as our stock radiators are , we can run a dual fan set up from flew-a-lite model 210
Only if its lighter, when filled. I remember the spec miata guys. if you buy the racing radiator the radiator itself is lighter but the increased capacity makes the overall weight more.

call up griffin radiators
they can copy the stock rad pattern, but increase core size or whatever.
paco loco did it on his black turbo
I was quoted around $600
Sounds good... The twin fan sounds better. With my turbo setup I have overheating issues.

Everyone feel free to call Griffin yourselves, but I have worked out a deal so that everyone can get them cheaper from me than you can from griffin them selves. Believe me it will be a great buy!!!!!
Specs and price is all I'm waiting on...

These will be sold as a GP
Ill will put up a GP as soon as I the number of people required to get you the cheapest prices
Now for prices, I am still working out the minor details with the company at the moment so these prices arent set in stone yet, but I will give a rough estimante
Manual Trans-------------------------------------------------------------------$350
Auto Trans-----------------------------------------------------------------------$400
Manual with single 14" fan and wiring harness-----------------------$525
Auto with single 14" fan and wiring harness---------------------------$575
Like I said, these prices arent set in stone and have a chance of changing, but they should be very close to these numbers
As for the dual fans, I will have to get back to you guys on that

The radiator is a direct replacement

I was referring to just the fan install, hence why I put "97TRD:" in front of my post.

14" is pushing it for fan size , id stick with a dual 12"
people running a eco or 2.4 with a s/c will need the radiator pushed farther out to the front of the car
hypsy , on the wiring , you can wire them up several different ways , 1 you can have 1 fan work with in place of the stock fan , or have both work like the stock fan
another is you control both fans with a switch , also you can still have 1 work like stock
they do offer a thermostat control unit also

I want them both to work like the stock fan, but have one controlled by the switch I already have. If I have to have both on the switch, that's fine too.

Count me in for a manual trans radiator with no fans because I already have a dual fan setup to put on.
