I want to get rid of my can exhaust for something a little more soothing to the ear. Any suggestions? Magnaflow? Flowmaster?

Dynomax Superturbo II muffler ive had them on my car twice now, and have heard them on other ecos and love the way they sound. It really allows you to hear your intake if you have one and the sound of an intake is better then the sound of an exhaust.

I use a cherry bomb turbo 40$ Canadian at Canadian tire, gives a nice v6 sound to the car without sounding like a wippersnipper at full throttle (a honda comes to mind) lol

Flowmaster takes all in the mellow and deep toned. Get a 60 Series Delta Flow. I have one on my car and When its idling its noticable but not loud. But when you rail on it it roars and gets loud. Best muffler for what your lookin for I think. Besides its cheaper than a magnaflow. But better built than a dirty man sex cherry bomb. I picked mine up for a tad over $100.

Actually thats what I been looking at mostly, but wanted to find someone who had one installed. The delta flow will most likely be probably the winner. Thanks. I'll probably get the delta flow and a nice resonator to go along with it.

I had the dynomax super turbo on my car for a long time..just took it off this week..I loved it..just wanted something a little louder..pretty quiet cruising..when you get on it, it has a nice deep tone to it..I'll sell it to you really cheap :-)

I always heard good things about Borla XS for a not so loud but deep tone. Thats what I'll be getting later this summer when I do the exhaust. Here is some tests done comparing a bunch of mufflers (but on a different car):

I have a Hayame type 2 on my stock exhaust. Very mellow sounding. A friend of mine had a 40 series Flowmaster on her stock exhaust, Too raspy for my taste.

Check the exhaust sound clip thread. You should be able to find out how just about every possible combo sounds on each engine. Not going to link, find it yourself. lol

I picked up my magnaflows (22" resonator, 5x8x20 oval) Straight through mufflers for 110 shipped. All stainless.

My exhaust is VERY mellow, has'nt a hint of rice, even with the high flow cat and header. I did full exhaust 2.25"

If you want tone go magnaflow. Flowmasters are alluminized steel. Go Magnaflow and get the stainless. You wont regret it and it wont be any more then a flowmaster. Plus its all straight through if you get the correct mufflers and just as quiet as any street legal "performance" muffler. Straight through = more power and gas milage on tap and more then sound as a gain to be had.
