Moderate please move as needed..I have researched alot on this board and I have seen alot of different answers.Today I was on the was on my way to work and I got a heavy rod knock. Now i have a 1996 pontiac sunfire 5speed with a bad 2.4. I am looking at going turboed. I want to know if I should stay with the 2.4 or goto a 2.3. Or another motor that will be nice for the set up. I would like to make a sleeper. But money is a little on the tight side. Got kid #2 on the way. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Nitrous is like a hot chick with AIDS u want to hit it but your afraid of the aftermath.
first off, turbo setups arent the best way to go about when u can afford it...buf u can piece them together over time and be just fine
my suggestion would be to build a nice forged internaled 2.4, drop it in and break it in etc, THEN after youve collected all the nessesary turbo parts, install it all!
