i wouldnt go with the OBX header man. ive heard bad shiit about OBX, the quality just isnt there. up to you though man, ur car is awesome and i think u should get the best u can buy.
this should give you maximum performance. i have the pacesetter headers for the 2.2L MPFI motor and i saw a lit of performance gain there. i hear 8hp from the header alone. but i thought most of the cavys came with 2200 SFI engines, etc???? i would like to get a resonator because my exhaust cackles.... but your plan looks great. expect to spend a little over $500 for the whole thing. i paid about 200 from the mid pipe back to the muffler for a full 2.25 exhaust system.

I think for right now I'm gonna go and do the muffler and tip just to get the can off of it. I need to still get my upper mount insert before I do the header anyway.

Thats a pretty good setup your gona have. Should sound good when its all together, and not to expensive. Not sure about the 2.2 obx header, havnt realy heard much about it.
My setup only cost me about $435 with shipping for a pacesetter header, magnaflow cat, pacesetter catback, and dynomax st muffler....I love bargain hunting
I just wanna slowly get some stuff done on the car and get it going a lil quicker. I would like to feel safe pulling into traffic atleast.

Hey!
Have you completed the work yet? Is there a good increase in performance (hp/torque)? You bent the piping yourself for the entire system? Without a resonator, would it be a nice sound or the resonator is necessary?
For everyone else ... Are there better companies that make headers for the 2.4 z24?
Thanks guys!
I'm holding off a lil bit, I'm getting a exhaust on the girlfriends car so mine is on the back burner for a lil bit. I've also changed my mind on the muffer as well. Just gonna run a super turbo on my car.
