Okay, so i'm looking into buy the ecotec camshafts froma dealer. But does anyone on here have them in their ecotec? Also, i know it's not a substantial gain in HP, but does anyone know how much it increases? Even if they dont do a lot i wanna get them cause im setting up my car to handle the high HP range. Thanks!

I think they should work well for you, You notice better throttle response and topend power gains, Not huge gains, You sure notice the power.

Good Luck

with so many reputable cam companys on board with the ECO stuff... why bother with puny GM cams? if your going N/A i suggest getting the LZM tri-flows, if boosted.. the comp cams 'blower' cams.

i would KILL to have this many options for the 2.4, you ECO guys got it so damned easy.

Yeah, GM started selling these cams awhile back. About a year ago i believe. Go to their Performance Parts web page and look them up in the online catalog. They are $600 for the pair. I'm probably gonna go ahead with them.

The GM cams are for racing only. They will not work with your computer, GM even states this. GO with an aftermarket set. Hell I have a GP going on right now for the Comp Cams.

I work at a GM dealer and my cost is 560$. However I can get the cam blanks for 140$ together. Just gotta find out a price to have them ground down.

1) GM Build Book
2) On any of GM's paper work about them
3) GM Tuner Tour papers
4) The specs themselves are a dead giveaway too

if I remember right you need to make the car idle around 2K rpm just to stay running with the GM cams not to mention theres no power untill very high rpm. More or less completely useless in a streetcar, they are meant for the super high RPM all out drag cars.
