I know that your thinking "this dumb ass wants to know how to swap a 2.2 to a 2.4."well thats not the case.
I want to know if any one has put a Nissan,Honda,Mitsu...etc. in?
Also I know you can do any thing with money,I was wanting to know if any one had success swapping an import motor?
I only know of one person who tried... putting a Integra motor in his Sunfire.... but after spending over $10k attempting the swap, he just put a $300 Ecotec in...
I know of one person, if hes still got it ill get pics, but he put a B18 motor in a sunbird, I know he had a s**tload of money into it though... One of my friends right now is thinkin bout tryin to put a red top nissan motor in a cavi (good luck to him lol) ... but really, its possable, but not really worth the money you have to put into it...

Yea, id go B18.. thats if u wanna spend all the money for it lol, but u can make some decnet power from a 2.2 if ya want, or a 2.4 swap would be easier, i think theres more parts for 2.4 than the 2.2, id say, good power, 2.4 swap w/ mods, easy power gains put some mods on the 2.2

Speaking about doing a honda swap... if you are looking for a 300ish WHP engine this might be something you would want to consider.
It's called the Arial Atom, you can get either a supercharged honda or supercharged ecotec engine. Jay leno picked the ecotec becuase it had way less vibration, and the torque was higher on the ecotec... just a thought. And the ariel is no kids toy, when it was made is was faster than a cbr 600rr, and ferrair enzo on the Top gear track.

Geting the B18 parts will be easy,this is in my yard.
does any one want to buy it?$800 runs,drives,needs a frount bumper cover,right fender & hood.
It has been totaled but it will make a good treck car.

how do you get beat by tags i can beat the ls but not the gsr. and mine is a 4 door
judging from that hood scoop and your windshield wiper, you don't care about looks, why not but weld in a honda engine?? oh yah, do you have chrome door handles??

The Honda engine is gonna be slower in your car than it well in the Teg. Since the car is heavier.
And even on the 2.4 swap........ why not go for something with even more power if you're gonna do a swap. Unless you're throwing a turbo on the 2.4.
