I just hooked up my vacuum gauge and i was wondering if its reading right. At idle it doesn't read anything, at full throttle it doesn't read anything, but when i give it light throttle it reads no higher then 14in.Hg (whatever that means). Does this sound about right??
Also the A/F ratio gauge just bounces back and forth all thetime. Im guessin thats right too.
at idle it should read in the negatives
Idle: 18inHg
WOT:
Cruising: in between
Decel: below 18inHg for a short period then back to idle readings
I used to race cars, now I race myself.
5K PB: 24:50
10K PB: 54:26
hmmmm i think maybe i hooked it up to the wrong tubing. I hooked it up to a tube that goes from the back of the throttle body to a little black box thing on the top of the valve cover on the 2200. It also has 2 other tubes comi from it.
connect it in-line with the tube that goes to the fuel pressure regulator , or use a adaptor and connect it to the brake boost line
your discription sounds like you have it in a ported location , instead of a open spot

I plugged to the same place as you and I get 14-15" at idle.
hhmm this is really odd. I'll try another spot and see what happens
