this might be a stupid question but i don want to purchase an intake
unless im sure
here is the intake
948+6177 - CAVALIER Ecotec 2.2L 03-05 - $166 - FREE FREIGHT

i have a 2002 ecotec
i know the engines are the same but im not sure about mounting

any help would be great

Yes the AEM cai will work on your 02. I believe the AEM/RKSport are the ony two that fit properly with the 02 hood. I don't know if it matters to you but Fred Jr. from SMG (http://www.smgmotoring.com/ ) can price match that exact intake for you, he might even be able to slightly beat it (guessing, not sure). I just asked him about it a couple days ago about that same intake because I truly hate dealing with the people at NOPI (bad experiences), so I figured he could since he has a relationship with them. Just throwing that out there for you if you.

The AEM looks kinda restrictive in the way it is bent. Does anyone have any better pictures of it. I searched and found a couple. That seems like a pretty good price, but would like too see it better. Best pictures I found have been on cardomain, but there are 1000's of cav pics to look through before i actually run across one or two pictures of the intake.
