thats almost the exact same setup that i'm running. the only difference is that my resonator is slightly shorter than that one. you'll be very happy with that setup. it will be very quiet, only slightly louder than stock
for the header, you might still be able to get in on the group purchase that turbotechracing is running. it will save you a few bucks
looks good to me, only things are
1) try to see if you can get in that ttr header gp
2) i think that magnapacks are better quality than thrush resonators, but they are also 40 dollars cheaper if you wanna look at em.
3) the 17732 is offset/offset, whereas you really should get offset/center which is 17731.
4) with a similar setup on my 2.4, i found that there was quite some resonance in the interior w/ the 17731 because of the 14" body length. i ended up ditching it for the 17747, which is 2.25 and 20" body length. all depends on what kinda sound you wanna get.
5) summit racing's prices are the same on ebay as they are on their website. they are an excellent company, and also sell the thrush resonators in case you wanna look at them.

so is there a 20" thrush resonator availible? I notice the lowest the overall case length goes is 25" on summit racing. Is a glasspack the same thing as a resonator?

Thrush glasspack If you're talking about 20" overall I don't know if there is one available, just wanted to point out you can go to your local advance autoparts and pick one up. I think there are some differences in a glasspack and a resonator, but for the purposes of getting rid of a raspy exhaust the glasspack if fine.
Maremont Cherry Bomb is another option and is only 23" long.

I have a 35" Magnum Glasspack on mine, but I have a 2.2L which the exhaust exits the motor from the front. I had to cut 8" from the header down pipe and move the cat forward for it to fit. With a 25" you shouldn't need to move the location of the cat. Besides, with a rear exit exhaust I don't believe you'll have the room.
Many resonators uses sound deflection to bounce the sound waves into one another to cancel out certain fequencies. Others use a sound absorbing material, just like a glass pack muffler.
Most use the Thrush/Dynomax Magnum Glasspacks, because they are a straight through design and have perforations (small holes) that don't interfere with the flow of the exhaust gases. Stay away from a louvered core glasspack/muffler, the louvers stick up into the exhaust gas flow (like a cheese grater) in causes turbulence, reducing the efficiency of the exhaust system
is there a muffler that is still not obnoxious but a little bit louder than the dynomax super turbo?
