Where is the oil pressure sender on a 2.4L (97 pontiac sunfire gt)? I am looking to throw a oil pressure gage on my motor and am wondering where I can tap in?

Just tap one of the 1/4 ratchet oil bungs.

The stock one is on the drivers side of the intake cam tower. Look behind the power serring pump at the opening of the valley where the spark plugs are.

Cool. Is there room to put a t-fitting on and get a gage sender installed, and retain the stock sender?

Yes, you need to extend the fitting out though with a pipe.

BTW, the stock one is not a pressure sender, its a pressure switch, it just grounds itself out when pressure gets low. I haven't had a pressure switch on my car for over a year now with no CEL. As long as you have something to monitor the pressure, I'd just ditch the stock one.

cool, I didn't know what that 1 brown wire plug was... I labeled it as oil pressure but I saw the connection on the cam tower... and i wasn't sure what that was anymore.
