I don't know why, but the video w/ sound won't work for me. Good to hear that it is finally working for you though.

2.3 block + 2.4 crank = 2.6 stroker

Congrats Scott!

I got sound, and it was mean and scary. I can't imagen what i will be like at WOT at 7000 rpm. Way to go. What numbers are you expecting? I want details of the build please. Parts, where you got them, hurdles for us thinking about this to consider, and maybe why YOU took the route you did with those problems. Thanks a bunch. Break her in and then show us some dyno and driving vids. Really nice work.

2.6L quad = 2.3 block w/ bore + 2.4 crank aka one hell of an engine.. will make a mokery of civics everywhere.. will pound mildly boosted civic, N/A.

gratz man I've been following your progress and it must feel good to see some leaps forward!

You're sure it's running fine? It sound like a lifter is not full or knock.

It sound good but not awsome. Scott know I'm not putting him down. An ho with a 2.5" exhaust will sound like that. The only awsome sound at idle are the W41

I still want some number to see if it's worth the price or if my built W41 can do the same thing.

i have been following this for a long time, i have been on qaudforums aswell reading most everthing on this i can, i got the car body figuered out, and have starting working on it, but have been wondering, what to do engine wise for a long time, 2.4 or 2.3 w41 or 2.6. but finally one is done and we can see what it can do, i am in the same boat as gilles, i want to know what puts up better number a turbo'd w41 or a 2.6 ????? great to know it is up and soon running cat wait to see the numbers

Comparing a turbo W41 and a 2.6 is like comparing orange to apple. Any turbo engine should make more power than an N/A engine. What I want to see is N/A number. I want to see if it make alot more power than my W41 on steroid or if it's just like a built 2.3.

Okay...gotcha...I take it the 2.4 roller shoves the pistons higher in the chamber..."stroke-r"...? ...am getting a handle on boring...that means dismounting the engine to hone?...since I'm driving mine daily...not a great idea.

i'd love also to know what went into getting her to the point you did. can't wait to hear how it sounds once you've got the bugs worked out and everything's seated.

I like that it's unique...haven't seen a lot of them on the board. More pics and more video!

WELL BAD NEWS although the engine runs i cant get ANY oil pressure ..ZERO...so this is bad..its the only thing keeping me from taking her out for a spin ...i have oil in the filter and i have oil in the camshaft cus when i take the sender out it pours out all over the motor...but no pressure...so it wont be running again till i get this figured out..all advice on the subject is greatly appreciated! please help get the stroker running!!!

bad sender? I dont see how your not getting oil pressure if the oil is making its way thru the motor
