I've used them a few times, mainly only when something comes close to the header.

pretty much pot calling kettle dark blue
lol
it is something that is still hard on headers for daily use
i dont know why everyone hates header wrap, etc so much, hell muscle car guys use it all the time, and if you dont get a coated header then dont expect it to last. i'm happy if i get 2yrs out of a header, the only ones i coat are the custom ones i make. "off the shelf" headers who cares, for the cost and the "ease" of use just buy them and run them unless your truly concerned about looking fabulous.

I like the fact that these jackets lets the header expand with the heat. Besides I have seen some bad stuff with the wraps.
Also I do like the idea of a "stick-on" on the header.
Looking for something to control the radiant heat too.

What do you mean, dude?

I have it on since Saturday....
Oh boy is it ever worth it!!!
The under hood temps it is soooooooo considerably lowered. Before there was no way to put my bare hands in the engine bay after driving with the header, now I can actually touch the header. Yes, that big of a difference in temperature.
Less heat in the engine bay means better performance and longer lasting internal pieces.
Now, if any of you plan on buying and install it, when you turn on the engine, keep the engine hood open as lots fiber particles and a smell will be let out.
After the jacket is cured your car will look like it came from area where a volcano erupted.

Can you take some pictures? How hard was it to install?
FU Tuning
what i meant was black and dark blue look very similar
yeah it does make a big difference , but that heat is still kept inside and will eventually cause problems
if its left very loose then it will prob take a whole lot longer to happen
oh yeah , you outta know its not good to post with out pics

Ive never used those but have other DEI heat products and they work awesome! What i like about those is there open and loose to let out all the moisture that comes with all the heat.

One thing i am going
on:
"Maintain heat"
"Moisture"
Well, I am running a hi-flow cat so i want to maintain that heat in the pipe not in the engine bay and the primaries will cool off as quick if not quicker then if the pipes were bare.
Moisture will not be maintained as it will evaporate with in 20 secs of turning on the car. And if you have moisture going in there, you have issues.
I have not tested the temps before and after in the bay, but I swear that bay is as, if not even, cooler then with the standard manifold.
