as the title says i want ot know if i can put a 2.3 HO throttble body on a stock 2.4 and also will it produce gain and will there be any modifications needed to be made.

Just do the HO mani sawp too and your good. It was pretty easy and there are plenty of write ups on it. However there is an argument as to which sensors to use, 2.3 vs 2.4, and some say only certin years of HO throttle bodies work. All i know is I used the late 80's TB when i did the mani swap and it didn't run right. Put the stocker TB back on and it ran fine. I have the early 90's TB sitting in my room but haven't put it on yet. Keep in mind I used the sensors that went with the TB, i probably should have used the sensors that matched my comp, but hey, live and learn. Do a search and you will find out a lot more.
