I want to replace my muffler for one that maybe frees up some HP as well as gives my 2.4 a deep tone. What should I look for that wont give it a high pitch buzz. Can you all help me out?
Dynmomax SuperTurbo for the win. ive got that and a stock sunfire gt exhaust and it works great and sounds great to.
dunno, I got a Weapon R atom bomb. sounded tinny till I got my exhaust. The reason was that we shotchanged the job we did when putting the muffler on. We didn't totally cut the factory muffler off. We cut most of the way through the pipe, then bent it back and forth till it came off. So a bit of the pipe was sticking into the exhaust flow giving it a little bit of a tinny sound.
I know I know, do it right. At the time we didn't have a good hacksaw , it was a hand hacksaw with a 5 inch blade. It took me and my brother in law forever. So when we got it close we said "F" it.
NO NO NO NO best deep tone with out the beecan sound or anoying to much air/fart sound get a Flowmaster 40 series. i tryed a bunch and the flowmaster is by far the Best !
check out ebay, they always have fart cans that work just as well.
2.5" inlet is what i recomend.
stainless is always a plus.

Yeah, I looking for a nice DEEP tone with out that gay high pitch tuner sputter. I dunno I was kinda thinking of the DYNOMAX.
Magnaflow FTW! Changing just a muffler really wont do much overall in power though. Best to save for a full exhaust IMO from the motor back.

I would have to agree. I love mine! Sounds great.
New Picture comming this summer.
Borla!... i know 2 ppl with them on their cars and IMO They sounds GREAT on a stock exhaust system.
