V8 in a cavalier?

Has anyone else attempted to fit a v8 in to a cavalier and make it rear wheel drive.... i started this project about a month ago and i was wondering has anyone else attempted this????

Yes he is. Look in his registry. Some people have done it and there are some threads in here of it. The main one I remember is the one with the yellow cavalier with a V8 in it.

i cut out the rear floor and mounted the rear end frame and mounted the rear axles started tubing i have the slicks im building a different one then i have sitting in the bay now the floors cut up the front suspension isnt welded in yet im still waiting till we finish the tubs to move on to the front the front suspension is done just needs to be weld to the rear frame i did look in the search before and it came up with retarted crap and i got tired of lookin throu miles of crap so i thought id start my own

honestly, if i were to ever do a v8 cavalier, the only way i'd think to do it is with a complete tube frame, just mounting the cavalier body on the frame. the cheapest fastest i could think of waste money on a cavalier.

i rem seeing the yellow one awhile ago and it had a supercharger sticking out of the hood but it was mostly for show and ive seen tubed chassis with v8s but there not production cars like mine, i thought ide bring it up here to see if u guys have ever seen another one done

i would like to post sum pics but they are to large of files to put in here so im gonna start a cardomain page again to have some pics up

ireally dont care if people think its not worth it ive had the car for 5 yrs and own a camaro and blazer and this has always been my projectcar and i have no clue what itbl so explain

install that and all you have to do is right click the image and select resize, to the middle size one, and then upload and link here

STICK THE V8 BEHIND THE DRIVERS SEAT, YOU CAN CONVERT A V8 FRONT WHEEL DRIVE TO A MID ENGINE REAR WHEEL DRIVE CAVI, YOU WILL HAVE TO MOVE YOUR GAS TANK, AND DO SOME SERIOUS FRAME WORK TO MAKE WORK, BUT THAT WOULD BE ONE BADDASS CAVI, THINGK ABOUT HEMI CAV , WOW I WOULD LOVE TO DRIVE IT
