I know it can be done lol I have that stupid 2200 motor and i want the ecotec motor but i know i need the tranny to go with it and the mounts being nothing from my 2200 will work on it. Im just wondering what everyone has paid to have this swap done im in a car club and theres a guy that can help me install it so i dont need labor costs.

Are you going to do a auto tranny? Your stock tranny will not bolt up to the Ecotec, you need motor, tranny, engine bay wiring, ECU, axles, radiator. If you are wanting a 5 speed then you need the mounts and to cut the auto mount out and weld in the manual mounts. When we have done this swap we have gotten a donor car for about $700-1200. This would have everything you need, and then the time to do it.
