3rd Gen phase1 cav =95-00
3rd Gen phase 2 cav = 01-02
3rd Gen phase 3 cav = 03-05

all 3rd gens, slight changes in the body work

Excuse me do you know what your talking about?

It is not that bad of a swap. I have done this swap in a few cavy's. Since you have a 2000+ car you have it the best. He will not need to bend fuel lines for his car.

i had to bend my fuel lines because it wouldn't reach and i have a 2002

o yeah also when your done with the swap it may not start don't worrie

you might have to let your computer think a little bit just turn the key on with out trying to start it

and let it sit for a couple minutes then turn it off for a for about 30 secounds and then u can start it

and yes the swap is a pain in the neck but it's worth it if you can find the engine

I ahve to drive to Pa from chicago 14 hour trip

What part of your fuel lines did you have to bend? For what reason? You should not have to at all on a 2000+ car. You do use the rubber part that runs from the rail to the hard lines under the car. These can be removed, and reaatached.

What do you mean cutting the powersteering lines? Why would you cut them?

No you would need a getrag for the Ecotec. Bellhousings are different.
