What gains should I expect from it? And is there a core charge?

I SERIOUSLY doubt your milage is cut in half...especially with a set of Level 1 cams. Any proof of this or is this just more BS being flung around by people?

well i know someone who had cams in their eco, told me mileage was cut in half easily. not sure what stage but with his cams it was cut in half.

But anyways, what gains should I expect? JBP claims their Stage I Cams give you a gain of 9-11whp and their Stage III, a gain of 19-23whp. I wish I could buy the Stage III AGAIN, but it's way too much, $629.

from personal experience my stage 2 cams from JBP were a nice gain not sure how much exactly but its noticable, and with every mod in my reg., im actually getting 1mpg better then stock even before the interior was stripped. and im with hypsy ive never heard of anyone losing that much if any gas milage from cams. honetly cams are a good investment for the eco especially if you're staying with an all motor build up. and of course supporting mods only help the cams, i.e. i/h/e, head work, etc.

Just a quick link for those who haven't seen it yet.

Comp Cams has five sets of cams, see this page of the 2006 Catalog Update, at the bottom of the page.
