ok i got this reative strut tower bar. it fits and all BUT the bracket that holds the ecu on my ecotec psuhes the brace up to fare and hits the hood. how hard is it and were would be a good spot to move it to? i would like to install it when i get off work tonight a 7pm central time so if any one would be able to help PLEASE POST!!
i have mine mounted on opposite strut tower. did it originally bc my harness was getting fried by weapon r header and it seems to fit perfectly where i have it with my strut brace

Actually it is not hard to move the Ecotec ECU under the dash. Only takes 10-15 minutes. If that.

For your issue I would just notch the bracket so it fits under the strut bar. I have seen this done as well. We move the ECU under the dash because the car was turboed and the heat was killing the ECU.

Really? Just unplug and pull back through the firewall? So there is enough slack... Seriously I am interested in cleaning out all the wires in the engine bay.

john ... i will be going turbo some time so might as well clean the bay up! were can i slide the wires through the firewall? ill look some more tomorrow morning before work but seeing as how you did it already... would be better then me screwing it up.

Take it through the hole in the firewall where all the other wires go through at.
