motor change

Alright here's my story i just got a 97 cavalier at auction, the motors is @!#$ ( i believe the bottom end is trash). i also have a 98 cavalier, both 97 and 98 have 2.2. so what i want to do is put the 98 2.2 in to the 97. what stuff would i need to change over, i plan on putting both the motor and trany in the 97 along with the cradle, brakes, shocks and computer. what problems am i over looking and what else would i need to switch over? any one do this before? am not lost with mechanical stuff ( iam a mechanic for the USAF and iam in Germany right now) so i do have a clue, i just want to be prepared. i want to try to do this in a day or two so i want to get as much info as possible so i can do it fast.

If they are both 2.2's, its a direct swap.

Yeah, but he says he's doing that, there is no welding or anything involved, so it works.
