Has anyone used the 2.3 Intake that looks like a header? It looks neat, i know it couldnt be as good as the HO intake but would it hurt me performance wise compared to the stock 2.4 intake?
apperantly from all hear-say thats gone around is that they flow horrible, worse than a stock intake. I havent really gotten a close look at the nitty-gritty of the intakes (only ones bolted to an engine in a junker)...
dyno the car now, swap it over, dyno after and let us know...

hmmm it'd be sucky to go through the hastle of modifying it and loose power. I remember readig that the exhaust manifold that would be on the same engine was wery restrictive.
I know Gilles and Shifted probably know the answer, but it is after a certain RPM where the car just falls flat on it's face (that might be for the 4-2-1 style of exhaust manifold though... I can't quite remember which it was...oh well, sorry)

I have a pretty red one if you want it CHEAP. Yeah looks good/cool....flows like @!#$.
I ran .6-.8 secounds SLOWER in the 1/4 mile than my normal time.

they are just as easy to find and them flow well and install is the same
kinda like trying to pick between two peices of gum...one tastes like peppermint, the other tastes like dead fish
