ok well dont just say search b/c i did i dont see any ppl that have asked about my speficic question i have a 1998 2.4l sunfire gt i want to know what eco to get and everything that ill need to swap also is this an easy swap and how long should i expect this swap to take

speed epends on $$$... You need to update to OBDII for the eco so you have to rewire just about everything is my understanding...

2000 and up GM updated the electronics in the chassis. so you need to rewire a lot of stuff. clicky PJ did the swap on his cav and sez a lil about what u need to do for pre99 but he didnt go into the info deep cause he has 2002 i believe. I also head that the engine mounts need to be moved and i know the trans mounts need to be moved for the getrag tranny
