Does any one have the parts list.
I know i need.
1.tranny 5speed
2.engine harnes
3.Ecu
4.of course an 02-05 eco 2.2+accessories
5.Ecotec upper motor mount
I have read about the swap for the 2200 form factor but have not found swap info the 2.4L.
Mine is already a 5 spd.
Yes it is going in my 02 4 door Z.
Thank you for any information.

I'll hopefully be doing this swap soon too.

what I can add to your list is:
Eco radiator
Eco radiator hoses

I believe the alternator and A/C bolt up okay. I know there's some issues with the fuel lines, but I'm not quite sure what the fix for it is.

Radiator i thought was the same as the 2.4 the altinator i know is different And i believe the fuel line issues were the 2200s due to were the placement of the fuel rail

The Radiators are different. For the fuel lines you only need the part that connects to the fuel rail to the hardline under the car. You will need a Ecotec A/C compressor and the lines that connect directly to the compressor. Truly the swap from a 2.4, or a 2200 to a Ecotec is no different. Since your car is already a 2000+ you have it easy.
Here is a picture of the fuel lines (all of them), you only need the black part.

Your tranny will work, but you need to swap the bellhousing so it will bolt to the eco, otherwise it's identical.

Um most front wheel drive cars do not have removable bell housings this includes ours. identical inside yes but front wheel drive and removable bellhousings are not common in this time and age.

Getrag's have removable bellhousings, the older Isuzu's didn't.

ether 1 of those is relevant , and missinformation

the isuzu and getrags have a fixed belhousing/case , you have to change the belhousing/case half to swap it

at which point , you would have had to buy another trans

just get the whole eco getrag , and youll have far less money and time invested

Freqz this is going to be my winter project. I'm going to get all my parts for the swap then Get a built head "port+polish good valvetrain". I'm gonna put in forged pistons and rods and balance the rotating assemblie. I'm gunna run 10:1 compression. Tranny is getting a stage 2 clutch with TG lsd. Eventually it will be boosted but i might either run the gm SC or HRC Stage 2 both designed for 10:1 compression. I am just going to be doing a lot of tunning. Yes some of my freinds call me insane but with the right supporting mods i want to be the first cavy sedan in the 11sec braket. As long as i hit that once i'll be happy. Thanks to Jbody my goals are goals not just my dreams . Thanks for all the info.
