I currently have a 96 2.2L auto with 153k on it. I wanna put in the LD9 and eventually turbo or supercharge it, will i need a new transmission? What all will I need? Also what cars come with a LD9 in them so i know what to look for at the salvage yards.

I just did the swap 97 2.2 to a 99 fully built 2.4

Youll need the following.

2.4 upper engine mount
2.4 lower engine mount(that attaches to the engine)
engine(96-99) If you go 00+ youll need the digital gauge cluster, along with in cab harness
transmission(auto or 5spd and the mount that goes with it)
ecu(wiring harness)
2.4 accelorator cable
2.4 upper and lower radiator hoses
If you go manual, youll need the shifter linkage and the clutch pedal
If you go auto, youll need the thing that says PRND321 lol
Oh, youll also need a z24 gauge cluster

Thats all I can think of right now
