so i put up the megan racing exhaust today...and the rear muffler hanger is a horizontal metal bar...the one on my stock muffler is a sideways round bar...not even CLOSE!!! i hung it with mechanics wire until i can have a new hanger welded on at an exhaust shop.
on the upswing tho...with the silencer in...i barely BARELY hear any more volume than stock...and iwth my intake, i dont hear the exhaust at all. with the silencer out, its got a sick nice deep tone in it that i truly LOVE!! such a good setup!!
worth the money hands down...but before you install it yourself...check the rear hanger!!
just so those people know..i have an 02 ls sedan 2200. nicest sounding slow POS ive ever heard..haha!

GM used 2 different rear hangers , you just need to get the other 1
i said that in gabriels post when he got his too
my 97 ls 2.4 sedan had that style hanger , and i forget what style my 00 had
just had it welded...it sounds SICK...im going outside to take some pictures of the modified hanger (meineke only charged me 25 bucks to have it MIG welded) and get some videos

yeah pre 2k's used different rear hangers and the megan exhaust was built using that style hanger so all 00+'s will have troubleq

Yeah, Lundis is right. It does sound really effin' good for just a canister muffler without a resonator. It really growls.
ok..pictures are up...so is the video, but i guess i put the camera too close to the car...and the audio got pretty distorted. its not as loud as the camera makes it sound cuz its so close... but it works for tone...which IMO, is sweet.
