Did you reinstall the sensor in the intake?

If you did,
Is it in far enough that is reading the air flow?

If so,
Is there and dust partcle or is it damaged?

Are you getting the check engine light?

Stop flooring it to listen to the engine roar You'll be surprised to find you get the same mileage as before

i did reinstall the sensor, the car is quieter than before, before when am driving hard i would take it up to 5500 in every gear ( not 5th gear, you alll know why) and still get good gas milage, am thinking the sensor is not in far enough or dirty maybe damage,.. the check engine light is on the about two months now and i was still getting 625km to the tank,..

thanks for the reply, keep sending them,..

thanks

quieter then before you say? if it's the cosmo short ram, then it should be noticeably louder... i'd say your sensor may be damaged and the car is running rich...

Did you actually push the connector all the way into the IAT sensor? So that it clicked? If not, it might not be connected.

There should be no check engine light.

Just by curiousity ... does it shift alot harder than normal? If so, that IAT being loose or not present brings the computer into a "freeze" mode. It will basically @!#$ everything up. Including your gas mileage.
