Cross polination (TB Question)
Sunday, July 16, 2006 11:36 AM
I was at the local PullApart and found a late 2.4 quad4 I noticed that they ahve a larger TB than my 2.2 Ecotec. Will this TB even come close to fitting on my Ecotec? I am not looking for huge gains but I am looking for slightly better throttle response and a little better pull at high rpms.

I have a custom TB. I'm trying to find someone to make them for me as we speak. Not as easy as it sounds I'm finding out. So as of right now I have no TBs for sale.

let me know when you have some availible I would love to be a test subject
what I want/need would only be 4mm larger. The airflow numbers support that size over bigger given the weight of my car. I really can't see going to a 70mm or even a 65mm

mine is, IIRC, 67,62,62 but I'd have to check with Roy again to be sure. It's been so long I've forgotten the details.
