Like the tile say, How many psi the AC compressor can push? I mean, without the regulator. It's a pump and I'd like to know what it can flow.

High side is around 250 psi.
Thats Him Officer The WICKED One.
high side can hit 400 psi
normal working is in the 200 to mid 350 range
its all temp related
It almost sounds like you want to use it as a supercharger. Dont, i wont work like that.
well, it'll make pressures like that, but if say, you hooked it up to an engine's intake, you wouldn't see pressures anywhere near that high because you're pumping into a much bigger pump, where the compressor normally pumps through a system of very small orifices. Beyond that, the refrigerant is pressurized in the system to begin with. But if you're in some way thinking it could be used as an s/c, wouldn't work unless you wanted to have an oil mister in your intake tract to keep the pistons of the compressor lubed, because the oil circulates in the refrigerant.

is there anything you dont know? i mean FFS.....

I don't want to use it as a supercharger.
I wanted to know how many psi cause it COULD have been a good pump for alky injection. Looks like the idea is not good. I've put a T3/T04E on my quad and you think I'm dumb enough to use an A/C compressor for boost?

A/C compressor for alcohol ............. won't work . don't forget that the oil in that compressor is also mixed with the refrigerant . You start running alcohol through one you also wash the bearing with the alcohol .
For airbags ? just buy a air compressor pump you can mount to your engine . Don't laugh you can buy them .

^ thank you for reminding me that. I forgot about that. I have an electric pump for the alky injection but I was just curious.

if there's one thing the .org has taught me, its never to doubt peoples' stupidity.... nothing personal bro, but i don't take anything for granted around here lol... not when there's people slapping turbos on cars with no fuel mods and no monitoring equipment and stupid crap like that...

I understand what you mean. I've seen alot of dumb people here. 4 years and I've seen the members go from 2000 to 20k+
But if somebody try to use an A/C compressor for boost, they deserve the "noob of the year" award.
I'm looking for a more reliable way to inject alchool. The electric pump is good but it can fail. An A/C compressor will show sign before letting go.
At 12:1 compression, I want something realiable for my Alky injection.

yeah youll need it with 12:1
i was curious what the heck you wanted to try , lol
did you get the 100 or 150 psi pump ??
I think it's a 100psi pump. I got it for free at the job. We were using it to water the flowers.
I'll have to check to be sure.
I'll be running 94 octane but I want to take precaution and be on the safe side. I started building the engine and I hope to get it running this weekend.
