Ok, this is probably a stupid questions but for the price i would end up paying for the head (50 USD) i dont mind a little flaming. I found a cylinder head for a 2.2l cavalier and i was wondering if it would fit on a 2200 engine. My reason for asking is because when i ordered my catback exhaust, header, catalytic converter (basically anything for my car), it is always listed as a 2.2l. i searched the JBO before i decided to ask and couldnt find anything. any help is greatly appreciated.

The cylinder heads are different. The intake ports are different, exhaust is the same. Internally, the combustion chamber is slightly different, and the coolent holes are in a slightly different position. You should try to find a 2200 head. This one will cost you a lot more to get it to work on a 2200 then $50.
