AFR gauge acting wierd

So today I drove my car with my air/fuel ratio gauge installed and on my way home from work, the gauge worked fine, went from optimal(at idle) to slightly rich(when I'd gas it), but it wasn't lit up. So I though, "ok, maybe it lights when I turn on my headlights". I kept on driving and when I got home, I flicked the gauge and lit up but it like reset ,but I just went inside. So that whole night while I was driving, the gauge was lit up, straight from the turn of the key, but didn't move up one bit, just stayed at lean. Did my flicker mess up the signal? We professionally installed it, so it didn't go wrong there.

By the way, the gauge is brand new. Installation equipment is brand new. Installation took time and concentration. Where did it go wrong? What messed up?

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere. Even if it was Done by a PRO doesn't mean the pro did it correctly.

We things soldered or just stripped and electrical taped together. There is a big difference.

No, WE did it proffessionally. In other words, we did it good, and made sure we did. We took all of the time possible that we had, didn't rush at all. Trust me, there is nothing wrong with the install. I think it's the gauges, but I could be wrong.

Either way, you should start by checking the simplest solution first.
