Actually I believe you have to use your 2.4 sensors if this is going on a 2.4L..

Stick with the 2.3 sensors.

Yes, the 2.3 sensors will work fine.

Also, if you want a bigger stocky for reasonable money, look up DarkFox on Quad4Forums.com He redid my stocker (2.4 TwinCam) up to 58mm

what if your using it on a 2200?

The 56 fits perfect on the 2200. Just an extra hole to drill in the stock throttle cable bracket and bang in goes in without changing anything. Unfortunately I just removed my 56 and went back to stock because I hated the sound it made at part throttle...it whistled and was getting on my nerves.

if it whistled thats becuse it was warn down. My old 84 bronco did that when u left off the gas becuase the TB was warn donw abit and left air throw. But yea im getin the TB off of Grillrd and he said it will be just plug and play when i get it. So is there anything i have to do to the intake mani?

The 2.3tb differs from the 2200 by way of only 3 vacume lines instead of 4. And the whistling noise is the lack of a gasket that matches, its pretty much a vacume leak. To fix this, you have 2 options. 1) Buy some rtv gasket maker or 2) make your own copper or cork gasket.

Also, with the 2.3 tb, you lose all that low end power you once had, and moves it into the 3000 rpm range.

also just incase you mix the sensors up, It wont run right. YOu must use the 2.3tb sensors with the 2.3 tb.

so here is a clarification: On the left are the 2200 and or 2.4tb sensors.

On the right are the 2.3 tb sensors, respectively.

Meaning that, for each of the 2 sensors its 2.3tb counterpart is directly to the right of it.

Also here is the differance between the vacume lines.

You needed to swap the rotors between the 2 tb's. However, if you couldnt , like me, just drill a hole throught the cable rotor in the same palce as the stack one, and connect it there.

theres no room to drill a new hole cuz its just a semi circle. And i cant figure out how they come apart
