HI GUYS I WANNA KNOW WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
RK SPORT PN:020910026 2.2 ECOTEC HEADER
DC SPORT PN:CHC3002 2.2 ECOTEC HEADER
I KNOW THAT THE RK STYLE IS BOLT ON FROM THE HEAD TO THE CAT WHIT THE PICS THEY SHOWN
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE DC?
IS IT A BOLT ON OR A CUT AND WELD I DONT HAVE PICS FOR THIS ONE AND I DONT KNOW WHAT
IM GONNA BUY.
SHOULD I CHOOSE RK OR DC I DONT KNOW!
WICH IS THE EASIEST TO INSTALL AND WICH WILL GAVE THE BEST GAIN?
ALL ADVICE ARE WELCOME
THANKS!
rk does not bolt on at the cat , you gotta cut and weld
that goes with 95% of the headers out there
dc is a shorty header , and is a replacement for the stock manifold , very easy to install , no cutting or welding required
rk's is a bitch to install , and same with the other companies copies of it
get a pacesetter armor coated header

what the hell is a "shorty" header?

shorty headers is just that a short header
mostly it refers to being a direct replacement for the stock manifold
i was wondering this same question but like said up top is it worth buying a dc sports header i mean will i gain anything out of it. Sorry to thread jack but im about to get one and i was going to ask the same question as this thread.
Pacesetter ive heard some things about them not fitting right and i do want a 4:2:1 header and was either going to go with rk sport or dc sports???
Help us out please!!!!!
Oh and if i were to get a 2.2 eco sc which would be better out of the two or would i need to get something totally different?????
never heard of any problems with the pacesetter , or had any with the 1's ive installed
dc's is a nice header and did notice a gain on the g/fs cav , but using the stock down pipe with 1 7/8" tubing isnt the best now that her cav has the eco s/c on it , im putting the pacesetter on it
and the myths of a 4-2-1 being better over a 4-1 arent always true , biggest example rk's header has alot of unecessary bends , not the best for exhuast flow
pacesetters is a 4-1 with very minimal bends great for flow , also the better design for a s/c powered car
cool thanks for the info guess im going pacesetter.
no problem , its what we are here for
