So i put on an injen short ram intake and al sudden i saw smoke coming from my hood that @!#$ was HOT all the way to the red....i put evewrything on right....i did not hook up the hose thing though because the stock intake did not have one idk......help!

You might be throwing oil out the PCV if you didn't hook it up to the intake or at least put a breather filter on it. Not likely, but possible. Not sure but I left it unhooked on mine when I was doing my tuneup (on an KN2) and no oil came out but if that's the case that would cause smoke when the oil hits the exhaust or a hot engine. If the car is overheating though, that's something else entirely.

nevermind .....yall gonna laugh....the hose was stuck in the fan hahaha. I did this in the dark so it just dropped in there i diddnt see. Thanks thou.
