What are your thoughts on buying a used exhaust system? The story is, I can get a 2 year old, California weathered RK Sport Magnaflow cat-back system plus a Catco high-flow cat for $100 from a friend. My dad, who runs a local auto shop chain and who I respect when it comes to car advice, says he doesn't recommend using a used exhaust system. I just want to know if the deal is worth it and your feelings on used exhausts. Thanks.
Also, do you know if the cat can be used on any car? I want to keep my stock cat so I'd like to sell the Catco one to a friend if I get it. It is the type that doesn't have the o2 sensor port in it. However, my main concern is sound rather than power gains because I won't be doing any more performance mods to the car. So, if the system will sound better with the cat, maybe I will keep it. Thanks.

bump...someone please help
^^^hi-flow means less restrictive = should have more noise but this can be helped if you throw in a large resonator which will help all together with the tone and raspiness
and yes the cat can be used it just will need a o2 bung added since you said it doesnt have one or you will be throwing a code but it wont ruin anything just with have the cel on you dash
