Hey guys, this may very well be posted somewhere, but I can't find it.
I went to buy RSM's lightened crank pulley from one of their distributors .. and after the thing not showing up for 2 weeks we did some investigation .. turns out they have gone bankrupt ...so ... I've looked and can't find anything .. does anyone know if there is anyone else who offers a lightened crank pulley for a 2200 ??? any help would be great.
thanks

Nobody sells a lightened one then yet...look in group purchase theo there is one goign on for lightened pulleys..the alt one will fit our cars 2200,2.4, and eco and he might be working on a 2200 one soon..phil
The RK pulley is much lighter than stock, and the reduced diameter gives it a lower moment of inertia as well, using even less power. ASP or something like that also has one. JTuners has a crank/alternator set, but you have tomake a 'custom' belt lol (cut a rib off of a 6(?)-ribbed belt).

There is a new one is apparently a steel crank pulley that is lighter than stock, and underdrive. I'm trying to get ahold of measurements to see if it will work with the overdrive alt pulley and stock belt.
lol wow i was just going to post about this im in the same boat. good thing im not like the newbs and actually check first. anyways, so the GP right now the alt pulley will fit all the cars? if so im on that now, and RSM is the one that went bankrupt?
anyways, so the GP right now the alt pulley will fit all the cars?
on the asp site now
they have:
96-00 2.4 25% underdrive
95-97 2.2 25%
95-00 2.3/2.4
95-99 2.2
96-99 2.2
94-00 2.2 20%
please don't ask me to explane thier year designating system I just cut and paste. it throws me off to. you may have to call and ask directly or figure out if a pre 97 wil work on a post 98 2.2.

I know the 2.2 Ecos and LD9s alternator pulleys are the same. I have not personaly confirmed that the older 2.2s, BUT PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME that they all fit.
PRND321 Till I DIE
Old Motor: 160whp & 152ft/lbs, 1/4 Mile 15.4 @88.2
M45 + LD9 + 4T40-E, GO GO GO
yes the alt pulley is the same
the crank pulley on the ohv motors is 2 piece , it has a inner hub , and a outter pulley
ill have to pick me up an alternator pulley then. now if i could just find the damn crank pulley too......
* someone that has them in stock i meant *
mantapart also sells pulleys for the 2.2/2200.
Does it go faster?
Mantapart/old RK/ASP are all the same crank pullies. Mantapart adds and oversized and an undersized alternator pulleys as well.

Someone has made a diagram of a lightened crank pulley for the 2.2Ls. If someone on the JBO could get a copy of it, and manufacture it and set up a GP, then we'd have it made. Hopefully someone in a machine shop reads this.
Here's the link

for the pully ... all were looking for is a lightened version of it? not smaller in diameter or anything? depending on the time i pull my motor out i will CAD up the dimentions. i know some on who has a CNC machine. not going to garantee anything tho!!

The link I listed above is for a cad drawing of a lightened pulley. I posted to see if someone on here who does CNC work, or knows a company and wants to start up a project. If no-one steps up to the plate, I could phone around and find a CNC shop that would do it, and possibly set up a GP or something.
