omg ... TPS ftw!

I finally replaced my blown out TPS, took about 4 hours to get the 2 hex nuts off the sensor, but it was worth it! After having the battery unplugged for the whole 4 hours, I put everything back together and took it for a spin. It felt like I had just installed a turbo! I never knew a blown sensor could hog so much power! Time to go to the track with the OHV!

See y'all @ the JCO Bash

Are there any other symptoms of a bad TPS? How would I check that it works properly?

I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.

It would have been a 15 minute job, but the 2 hex nuts were completely stripped smooth.

syptoms of a bad TPS.....engine cuts in and out when traveling at highway speeds, and responds to throttle movements differently. it wears out and the contact goes out in it....which means it doesnt send a signal to the ECU to figure out the AFR.
