I completely lost the websit that had the walkthrough. If someone could provide the link that would be amazing.
don't remember the link, but basically you raise the front end and install jackstands. Then slightly jack the engine using a block of wood on the jack to distribute load, unbolt the stock mount, i think its 18mm bolts, slide the old mount out, take the new one, lube it with dishsoap and put it in the stock location. you may need a hammer to make it go in place. then bolt the new mount in and remove the jack from the engine, and lower the car.
lower mounts are pretty easy stuff

I never jacked up the engine, didn't have any issues putting it in.

The upper mount SHOULD hold the engine in. Its when you install the upper mount, that is when you need to jack er up.

i am having a terrible time gettin these puppies out! they wont budge... time to try jacking the engine up a bit
I've also heard that they only go in "One Way" is this true?
I thought it was universal!
ECOTEC now with Maximum Bolt-Ons!!
Yep i have chanced the mounts like a good 3 times don't jack the motor. I would recomend sliping like a 2 foot section of pipe on the the rachet it will make it like a breaker bar and it will be supper easy!! I naver had to use dish soap!!! And how much was yours i have to buy one for my new car but i want the best deal!

yes the lower only goes in 1 way
if the car is stock height , then you just turn the wheel to the right and it takes a couple minutes
if you live in road salt land , then some kinda rust penatrant will be your best friend , and soak every day for a week
if you have problems getting it out use a pry bar , it will help and it will also help going in
the breaker bar tactic didnt work for me... it was a tight bolt! so i put the wrench on the bolt and put a floor jack under the wrench and pumped it up until it came loose.
gotta love my dads air ratchet
