Should I get a resonator with my new exhaust setup? Will it be too loud without one? I will keep the stock cat.

I would..I'm doin mine right now also..it will be pretty loud..but the resonator also takes out the raspy "ricer" sound that alot of exhaust give out. It's all personal opinion though.

I have no resonator and it is a little loud but not raspy. Personally, I like it a little loud. If you want it quiet, use a resonator or a more restrictive muffler.

I put a resonator on mine after a full cat back setup. I also had 2.5 in piping installed. It was too loud a annoyingly raspy, especially when I would get on it. After the resonator it mellowed down and I could hear again.

i don't have a resonator, and my exhuast is really raspy at high rpm's

i duno how much a resonator takes that out, but there not that expensive so you might just want to do it

I have a resonator, and my car is still raspy as hell as high rpms. But I guess that's the cost of dual mufflers...
Moral: Get one...a big one.

Mine sounds way better with a Magnaflow resonator, but my exhaust hangs damn low now. I have a custom exhaust hanger that i welded on, and i'm using some rubber hangers, but they tend to break do to the heat.
