Has anyone ever used a flowtech red hot glasspack muffler as a resonator to make there exhaust sound more deep and mellow?

You can use any quality glasspack as a resonator. Can't say I've ever seen of Flowtech's product, but you just want to make sure it's a perforated core glasspack and not a louvered core glasspack. Louvered core, when you look through the muffler, will look like it has small fins sticking into the flow path the entire length of the core. Perforated core just has drilled (or punched) holes the entire length. Louvered core mufflers cause extreme turbulence and restriction and should be avoided at all costs.

I have a flowtech, and I like the sound of it once the exhaust gets warmed up. for the life of me I don't remember if it was louvered or perforated core.
