As far as how to choose the right cam that depends on what's been done to the car and what you're looking for. In other words talk to the manufacturer about a custom grind. Your registry isn't filled out so I don't know if you're talking about a dohc cam engine or the ohv, but the ohv is more complex as the motor really ought to be pulled out cuz the cam is in the block plus your rocker arms, pushrods, and lifters gotta come out.
