I bought this 2.3l head and well the Valves look a bit funky.... anyone know if they are sopposed to have that little dip in the midde ? its a remanufactured Head so... i dont know thanks

what does Reconditioning a head mean ? i asked him how much the head was milled and he responsed : WE HAVE A SPEC TO STAY WITH IN HOPE THIS

They check the pressure of the springs, they change the valve seals, they check the valves, ... What is out of spec get change. so you can have a recondition head with 7 new valves and 9 old valves. same thing with springs.

Another Question regarding this head... how much can the HO spring handle ? Can it handle 7600 RPM constantly ? or do i have to upgrade to the mantapart dual springs ? what are the HO rated at ? thanks
The Ho springs can handle around 8000-8200rpm before floating the valves.
