I have all the stuff to put on my exhaust except the tubing. I got the pacesetter coated header, Magnaflow HighFlow cat, 31" resonator/glasspack, and a magnaflow Muffler and a tip for the muffler all 2 1/4". The muffler is stainless steel, and so is the tip. Would I be ok with the aluminumized steel tubing, or should I use all stainless? The reason that I ask is because I can't find any shops that have stainless tubing, and its a lot more expensive to by it online than the aluminumized steel. How badly does the aluminumized steel corrode? Is there anyone that sells the over axle bend for our cars? Right now I just don't want to get anything done till I know for sure that it will be ok to use the aluminumized steel tubing.
I'm interested in this too cuz I didn't think you were supposed to weld stainless to regular steel. I guess a shop could flange everything but idk.
*listening* - as my pacesetter tubing rusts, faster than ever!

you sure can weld stainless to mild steel. my exhaust consists of all mild steel piping with 2 stainless resonators welded in. also my wastegate dump is stainless welded to the mild steel downpipe. obviously the stainless wont ever rust, but the rest hasnt rusted yet so we'll see how long it lasts.
