i love the intake and the factory header on the 89 LO Quad4 are they good? or should i use the later model?
I was surprised to see a factory 4-2-1 header on the engine and i've never seen the intake like that around. i just wanted to know if they are keepers.
people keep saying it flows less , but no one has or has shown proof
only thing ill say is GM changed to the cast manifolds , and im sure 1 of the big reasons , was the are cheaper to make

Both manifold on the 87-89 are garbage. The Lo exhaust manifold (header style) is not good in any years.
The flow is really bad after 5000-5500rpm.
