hello im trying to reset the timing chain Tentioner and i cant figure it out ive read the book searched the forums but nothing anyone have an idea its 2.4l

you push the plunger in..... it will spring back out once you have it in enough.

hurmmm its not working i pressed it in all the way and it just stays in there .. thats how i got it from the store .. it doesnt spring out.. or im i doing it wrong ? i got some i squeezed it all the way in didnt have much more to go since it is already inside but i also tryed poking at the little hole in the top but nothing... what else ? im thinking going to get another one but .. i dont know what im i doing wrong ?

hurmmmm for anyone how ever has this problem and searches it up .. you reset it be hitting the bottem end or the end that goes in to the housing with a hammer or something i used a wrench just a and few somewhat soft hits and that puppy will pop right out
