like i said before, cai, header, short shift i ve got, and got a 75 shot laying around...and some super sticky 13" dirt track tires to hook up the front.
need to get into at least the 13's to win this race.

The pills you have for that 75 won't work. Your engine has half the displacement of the engine you originally used it on. You'll at least need new pills.
i think you are way wrong.
pills are letting a preset amount of nitrous into the intake tract. doesnt matter if 4-6 or 8 cylinders are there.
anybody else got some quick cheap power adders?
well ovbiously you arent going turbo/Supercharger since you posted in this forum so just get:
Full Exhaust
Intake
P&P Head
Cams (assuming you have 2)
Internals
Nitrous

no, its just that most people on this forum are a little more than self sufficient, and not looking for easy answers. take your time and understand more about the site, and more importantly the car before you mod the crap out of it and have no idea whats goin on.
not tryin to say that youre not capable, but dont be in a rush, just do some research, dont look for answers, because most ppl here arent just gonna tell you what to do outrite...
search is the little button on this site that lets you into a magic land where you can make the site scour its archives for old posts covering topcis that have been beaten like the proverbial dead horse.
and what they meant by quick and cheap doesn't exist means you can't have a fast car for cheap, it started life as a good gas mileage grocery getter, not a racecar, to make it into a racecar takes a fair amount of money.
but if your looking for 13's id say get some forged pistons and rods, a stage 3 clutch, mabey a light flywheel, intake, header, exhaust, motor and tranny mounts, msd igniton, and go for a 100 shot of nitrous, that should put you in the 13's id imagine or close to it

If your occupation is "dyno operator" like it says in your profile, should should know well enough what you need to do to make your car faster, its nothing specific to any type of car.

gonna have the head off tomorrow, i was thinking of welding in some aluminum to fill in the area inbetween the valves, you know to make it look like a cloverleaf. then have it decked. how big are the big valves?

i am a dyno operator for a major company that supplies injectors, pump and ecu's to a very large portion of the worlds diesel engine manufacturers.
