Hi!

I've read on NYJ-Body the head on the 2.4 have smaller valves on both side than the 1995 2.3 head. I know the better is the HO head but I'm wondering if the 1995 head (with the 1995 cams) can give performance over the 2.4 head.

I'm asking that because I already have those parts. I know I have to do some mods to put 2.3 head on 2.4 engine, it's not a probleme for me.

um..it probably will..not much..but alittle..most of the gain is gonna come from the cams..a better gain will come from the HO head with the 95 cams

the 95 doesn't flow more than the 2.4 head. the only benefits would be from increase compression. So unless you go with a 086 head (not an Ho head cause they had 4 different head), stick with the 2.4 head.
