I was just wondering if you guys could give me information on this throttle body ...is it good by any chance? does it really make a difference performance wise?
it's a little large for a NA 2.2
How much do they go from RSM now? I thought they jacked the price up.
they are $400 bucks...so you wouldnt recommend for a NA car?
For $400 I wouldn't recommend it on any car.
do you have the 2200 engine? if you do, look into the 2.3L 56mm swap.
Nope, He's got a '97 according to his profile.
Julio, get the throttle blade from a 2.3L and find a reputable machine shop to bore the throttlebody from your stock or salvage yard 2.2L TB/ Plenum. The TB is cast with the intake plenum and cannot be disassembled(without a saw anyways).
so you can't bore a stock 2.2L TB ?

you could but your gonna need a bigger blade like madjack said.
What about one for an Eco?
New Picture comming this summer.
RSM are a bunch of thieves. I wouldn't give them a dime, much less the highway robbery they're trying to charge!

I have the rsm throttle body for the 2.2 L but I didnt pay $ 400.00 for it I got it at j bash later year (05) for $ 183.00 and it didn't make much of a difference i think
I bought it when it was $300. What a waste of money. It wasn't even quality work.
I have what is supposedly an RSM TB, but the plate is stock size...they just smoothed out the transition...
